My role:  Story Editor

I led the writing / editing process and game design for my titles along with providing original copy for promotional campaigns and exclusive branching narrative content. I monitored associated KPIs after release and made adjustments as needed to optimize the game's performance. All games were adapted from licensed novels.

The Weight of The Worlds 

This is a heavily altered adaptation of author Cixin Liu's short story "Rural Teacher", which won a Galaxy Reader's Award in 2001. The original tale — a hard-scifi story with an omniscient narrator and shifting points of view — was reimagined as an interactive story game geared towards young American readers, with a pair of tenacious female protagonists driving the plot. All in-game text was created by me as part of this process and is largely original.
